You need to have a battery to run this unit. Example: two lead acid 12 volt batteries connected in series. A better example: 16 3.2 volt LiFePO4 batteries connected in series..

You need 750 watts to run it so you can use that to calculate how much solar or wind power you need to make daily and how much to store, to use this air conditioner whenever you want.
