Grand country French provincial farmhouse trestle dining table constructed on a monumental scale measuring nearly 11.5 feet long. Hand-crafted from massive oak timbers featuring a 3 inch thick top which is surprisingly flat given its size. The substantial top is supported by a triple pedestal trestle base. Gracefully curved baluster legs are conjoined by a long stretcher and end with shoe feet. The table showcases the rich oak woodgrains throughout with rounded, smooth edges. The table is very heavy and solid having excellent joinery and craftsmanship. Designed in a refectory style to resemble an 18th century monastery table with a grand scale and presence.
